Tell us a little bit about yourself:
I work in the healthcare field as a Nurse Practitioner. I enjoy going out to dinner with my husband/kids and doing family activities in my spare time.
Why Did you start CrossFit and how long have you been doing it?
I started CrossFit at the end of February 2018. I knew I wanted something more challenging and more of a full body workout. I enjoy waiting to see what the next WOD is going to be as well as how the coaches encourage me each time to work my hardest. I also enjoy the team camaraderie and support.
What’s your favorite type of WOD?
I love EMOMS….But I also Like AMRAPS which help me push myself to complete as many rounds as I can before the time is up.
What is your favorite movement? Which movement keeps you on the couch when you see the WOD?
My favorite movement are kettlebell swings… I love that it incorporates a lot of muscles. Least favorite is well you know…POWER CLEANS…
What is your ideal cheat meal?
A cheeseburger with the works, fries and a chocolate milk shake! Yummm
What advice would you give someone looking to start CrossFit?
CrossFit is for everyone…be patient and you will learn the movements in time. The coaches are extremely helpful in teaching you proper form. If there is something you feel is too hard for you to complete, they will modify it for you.
