5 Sets of 5 Reps with a 3 second isometric hold (1″ above shoulders)

Similar to a squat hold in the bottom position, we will be pausing in the “bottom” position of the press, not resting on the shoulder but instead having to support the weight 1″ from shoulder rack and having to press out after 3 seconds. Expect to have to go lighter than usual in order to perform the reps without cheating form or tempo.
